The national innovation festival TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 has kicked off with a bold new format — transforming from a conventional conference into an open-space “innovation festival,” inviting the public to experience cutting-edge technology and startup creativity firsthand.

The festival runs from December 12-14, 2025, with dozens of activities including competitions, exhibitions, forums, talks, and investment networking - all hosted in multiple venues across the city, including open public spaces. For the first time, part of the event takes place at Hoàn Kiếm Lake walking street, turning the city center into a vibrant showcase of innovation where citizens can see and interact with startup projects and new technologies.
Startup & Innovation Showcase: The festival’s exhibition zones display products and services from startups - from digital solutions to smart-tech, green tech, AI, IoT, and other emerging technologies.
National Startup Talent Competition: On the evening of December 12, finalists of the national “Innovative Startup Talent Search” will present their business models and tech solutions, competing for recognition as leading creative startups in Vietnam.
Policy Forum & International Investment Connections: The event hosts high-level forums discussing national policies for innovation, as well as attracting domestic and international investors - offering a bridge between startups, research institutions, and funding sources.
Interactive Tech & Community Experience: Visitors can join workshops, AR/AI challenges, robot demos, instant AI-photo booths, e-sports, and hands-on demo zones - making technology accessible and engaging for the general public, not just innovators and investors.
By opening its doors to everyone and moving to a public-facing format, TECHFEST 2025 aims to break down barriers between “the startup world” and ordinary people - inspiring a culture of innovation across the whole society. The festival is not just a showcase but a catalyst to build Vietnam’s ecosystem of creativity, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth.
